VIVATO APPOINTS MITSUI COMTEK AS EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR IN JAPAN
Vivato 802.11b Base Station Selected as Finalist for Best of
Show Award at Networld+Interop Japan 2004
NETWORLD+INTEROP JAPAN 2004, TOKYO - June 29, 2004 - Vivato,
an extended reach wireless systems infrastructure company, today
announced that it has appointed Mitsui Comtek as the exclusive distributor
of Vivato Wi-Fi Base Stations in Japan. Mitsui Comtek and its parent
company, Mitsui & Co. Ltd, are exhibiting Vivato's Wi-Fi Base
Stations at their booth at Networld+Interop Japan, which begins
today.
Vivato also announced that Vivato's VP1200 Indoor and Outdoor Wi-Fi
Base Station has been nominated for the Best of Show - NetWorld+Interop
2004 Tokyo. The winner is selected from the four nominees on during
the exhibition. The VP1200 utilizes Vivato's innovative smart antenna
and patented PacketSteering technologies to provide extended
wireless coverage particularly suited to large-scale deployments.

In addition to the exhibit at Mitsui's booth, Vivato Base Stations
will provide Wi-Fi access to hotels and public spaces around the
Makuhari Messe, Nippon Convention Center, in Chibu City, during
Networld+Interop. The Vivato 802.11b Base Stations recently received
type approval in Japan and are available for sale through Mitsui.
